ALPHA COURSE

We are holding an ALPHA COURSE starting on Friday 13th September at 4 to 6 pm at St Andrews, Maghull.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation. Read more here.

St Thomas, Melling has been at the centre of Melling community life for many hundreds of years. Also known as St Thomas and the Holy Rood, (‘rood’ is an old English word which means cross), records show that a cross was placed on the hill as far back as 1140. Now in 21st century Britain, the life and love of Jesus is celebrated here each week. We are part of the Maghull and Melling Team Ministry in the Diocese of Liverpool. Come and join us.
